COVID-19 Update

Our indoor mausoleum is open for visitation Monday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12 noon - 5:00 p.m.

 

 

River View remains committed and prepared to safely care for the families it serves during the COVID-19 pandemic.

River View is committed to enable families to participate in the rituals that are most important to them. We recognize our responsibility to protect the health of those we are privileged to serve. We will continue to guide families in ways they can commemorate the life of their loved one, while adhering to the guidance of public health officials.

We are being vigilant about cleaning our facilities and following recommended healthy habits, such as staying home when sick, washing our hands, and covering coughs and sneezes. The CDC and our state and local public health officials have offered a lot of helpful guidance for businesses on this topic, which we continue to follow.  Until it is healthy and safe River View will be operating as follows:

  • All visitors and client families are required to wear a face covering when visiting our facility.
  • Call us so that we can plan for when you are coming, this will help us ensure physical distancing in our facilities.
  • The Funeral Home office will be open, we ask that you call us before coming so that we can ensure proper physical distancing.
  • The Cemetery Office will be LOCKED during business hours, we are still in the office to serve you. The door being locked serves to control the number of people we allow into this space, so we can maintain physical distancing, this office area is small and cannot accommodate employees and customers without the area being controlled. We encourage you to call ahead before coming to the cemetery office.
  • The Mausoleum will be open for visitors IF there is not a service happening in the Adams Chapel. We ask all visitors to follow the physical distancing marks on the floor and utilize the hand sanitizing stations before and after using our facility.
  • Mausoleum Flower Rooms are open for use. We ask clients to use hand sanitizer before touching any surfaces and spray and wipe down the area before and after use with the provided sanitizer and towels.

For clients who wish to pre-arrange funeral and cemetery arrangements please make an appointment by calling 503-246-4251 or filling out our Pre-Planning Form.
